Most children in Richardson attend school through the Richardson school district, with a small portion attending Plano ISD. Richardson educates more than 38,000 students over 54 campuses and has a long-standing reputation for educational excellence and has been recognized at both the state and national levels. You may not know it, but Richardson is also a college town, home to UT Dallas. UT Dallas has become one of the best research institutions in Texas with 133 degree programs.
